Something you probably didn't know.

"Satan(snake): that's not true you will not die. God said that because he knows when you eat it you will become like God and know what is good and what is bad"

(Genesis: 3, 1-5) at this passage Satan deliberately tricked Eve into eating from the forbidden tree, a question like this will pop up;
why did Satan confronted  Eve and not Adam?
Was it because she is a woman and viewed as a weaker vessel?
No one knows, so the answer remains hidden. But don't dig into that, because that's not the main point here.

       The main aspect of this article is, was Satan really lying when he told Eve to eat from the forbidden tree that she will become like God, and have knowledge of what is good and what is bad? go on with this passage  (Genesis:3, 1-5)

"Now the snake was the most cunning animal that the lord God had made.  The snake asked the woman; Did God really tell you not to eat from any tree in the garden? The woman replied; we may eat the fruit of any tree in the garden except the tree in the middle of it,  God told us not to eat fruit of that tree or even touch it, if we do we'll die. The snake replied, that's not true you will not die. God said that because he knows when you eat it you will become like God and know what is good and what is bad"

(verse 6) the woman saw how beautiful the tree was and how wonderful it would be to eat it, and she thought how wonderful it would be to become wise, so she took some of the fruit  and ate it, then she took some and gave it to her husband, he also ate it.

And when you continue reading verse 7 towards the end you'll get to know that after eating from the forbidden tree that instant they realized that they were naked. Okay, another question will come up like this; who planted that tree in the garden at the first place? Obviously it is God that planted it including all the other trees in that garden, the point is that the tree contains knowledge to all secretes, it wasn't forbidden in fact it was set aside from the other trees because of it's rear power. After creating Man kind this tree has to be restricted from them totally, by then mankind was just nothing but a mere being that knew nothing of bad knowledge nor even good that much, in other words they're more like robots programmed to do some certain tasks.

Normally the gift of WILL wasn't given to them, it was made after mankind fell into Satan's trickery but then one can view the WILL power as a gift from God, a robot without being controlled by remote but living freely and having the power of WILL to make choices of their own, however mankind still remains weak. God wanted them to live just as he has planned but unfortunately all didn't go that well. Can one say that God was lying about them dying after consuming the fruit or even touching it?  Well, God is seen as the father who wants good for his children and not bad, so by doing he has the knowledge of what is bad and what is good, he is the eternal Master who has lived through all countless ages and knows what is good for mankind and for the sake of happiness and joy for all his creations. 

Mind you that God himself is a jealous God that forbids any kind of rivalry between him and any other false gods, he stated this in (exodus: 20, 1-5) this is more reason that he has to banish mankind from the garden of Eden as they have the knowledge of good and bad, and this wasn't the same reason why Lucifer was cast out from heaven. In mankind case it was DISOBEDIENT that led to their banishment away from garden of Eden, in Lucifer case it was PRIDE that led to his fall, but still they both have one little thing in common; which is they both want to attain total equality with God. The punishment for their mistakes are slightly the same but not totally, in the case of Lucifer he has to suffer in eternal damnation while in the case of mankind they have to work hard and experience real pain in life. More graces are given to mankind and not the Satan. God banished mankind from the garden of Eden, not alone that they have to work harder to live but they've lost immortality and after all this they still have the grace of God in them, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE it is, sometimes we might wish to be like the angels but I tell you even the angels sometimes wish to be like us because they see countless graces given to us and other more gifts that they don't receive that much, this was another the reason why Lucifer revolted against God because of Mankind. We have received a lot of gifts from God and even more, but not all have the eyes to see what great privileges we have.  

The angels are more like servants to mankind because God made it so and it is God's will that the angels must carry out his commands, God love all that he has created and blessed them all especially Mankind. Satan in the other hand knows little of God's secretes which among them is having another God except himself, without this how will he successfully persuade Eve into eating from the forbidden tree?  Satan wasn't lying he is just too jealous of mankind winning God's love more so he decided to turn that LOVE into HATRED just like in his case now so he TRICKED mankind into disobeying God.
